The New Year kicked off with a project located in downtown South Bend. Working with Epoch Architects, Danch Harner will be preparing Site/Civil plans for the renovation of the Hibberd Building. The Hibberd Building began its existence as a printing company in the early 20th century. Now, nearly 100 years later, the building will see new life as a multi-use destination in the downtown area. A key piece to the building’s renovation and success will be a nearly 6000 square foot pedestrian plaza located on the south side of the building. Our Landscape Architects have created several concepts that have been received with enthusiasm. With close proximity to Four Wind Stadium, this plaza will be a downtown destination for many people wanting to enjoy the revitalized area.
